No wonder Democrat Minority Leader (Rep Elijah Cummings) in the House Oversight Committee Has Fought So Hard and Viciously to Impede the Oversights Committees Investigation into the IRS Targeting Tea Party, Religious, Jewish, and Conservative Organizations.

IRS“House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell E. Issa on Wednesday accused his Democratic counterpart, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, of colluding with the IRS to attack one of the tea party groups that was targeted by the tax agency for intrusive scrutiny and long delays.

Mr. Issa and five other top Republicans said they just last week were given emails showing Mr. Cummings sought information from the IRS about True the Vote, a conservative tax-exempt organization that drew the ire of liberals for pushing states to eliminate potentially bogus names from their voter rolls.”

Keep in mind North Carolina officials found over 36,000 cases of Voter Fraud just in their State during the 2012 election cycle. This should be one of the Greatest Crimes in America. Dealt the most severe punishment for it undermines the very bedrock of our Republic. When a person commits voter fraud, they are not only robbing each individual who votes, they are robbing our Republic of the very democratic principles of its founding.

This is pretty rich coming from Cummings who has done everything he can to impede the Oversights committees investigation into the IRS stripping away True American Citizens Rights. A government employee is the government, they are not an American citizen. If an American business person gives up their Constitutional Rights when entering into public commerce, then an American who enters into public service give up those same rights when entering that same service!

It is only when organizations who are opposed to the Democrats and in fact to some extent the leadership in the GOP that the 501 organizations suddenly need revision and fixing by Congress to reign in their political activity. Democrats do this all the time, they create legislation they take advantage of, then when their opposition takes advantage of the same. They then want to revise those rules, or repeal the legislation to keep the opposition from doing the same. Democrats, liberals and progressives truly are the biggest hypocrites in America. Cummings at the very least should be removed from his duties as a member of the Committee on Oversight & Government Reform.

Due to the Supreme Court’s failure to address an issue concerning the Rights of Conscience and Religious Liberty today, and the growing trend among the Fascist Leftist to silence those they disagree with the following is appropriate:

If an American businessman surrenders their Rights as an individual when entering business, then government workers surrender their Rights as individuals when they enter the Public Service, therefore they who are indeed the government since they are part of that government cannot invoke the 5th Amendment as we see with Lois Lerner. The Constitution was written and made the Supreme Law of the Land to Protect individuals and citizens from the government, not the government from the people. It is past time for the abuse of our Rights and the promotion of government who was given no Rights to end!

McConnell: Growing threats to our First Amendment rights
Today, (Friday, June 15, 2012) Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell spoke at the American Enterprise Institute on the growing threats to our First Amendment rights. Rather than editing or filtering his comments, his extensive remarks are provided:

One of the things that has always distinguished Americans as a people is the eagerness with which they’ve organized around issues and causes they believe in. As Alexis de Tocqueville put it more than a century and a half ago, “In no country in the world has the principle of association been more successfully used or applied to a greater multitude of objects than in America.”

And yet today, this principle faces a grave external threat. The danger comes from a political movement that’s uncomfortable with the idea of groups it doesn’t like speaking freely, and from an administration that has shown an alarming willingness itself to use the powers of government to silence these groups.

This dangerous alliance threatens the character of America. And that’s why it is critically important for all conservatives — and indeed all Americans — to stand up and unite in defense of the freedom to organize around the causes we believe in, and against any effort that would constrain our ability to do so.

The bulwark of this freedom is the First Amendment. And defending it is what I’d like to talk about today.

It’s hard to imagine a more broadly accepted proposition than the fact that Americans are free, above all else, to speak their minds openly and freely, without fear of punishment or reprisal from government authorities. Human nature being what it is, however, I think we would all have to admit that there will always be a temptation, particularly among those in power, to muffle one’s critics.

But for politicians in this country, it is a temptation always to be resisted. Because any inclination to do so would demonstrate a deeply misguided notion of our proper place in a government that was established, as the preamble to the Constitution makes clear, by the people. For the framers, the highest form of speech, the form of speech most needful of absolute protection, is political speech, particularly at those moments of national decision we call elections.

In other places, at other times, those in authority may have asserted a right to limit speech. But not here. In this country, the government simply does not have the authority. This point was so obvious to the founders that the primary author of the Federalist Papers could suggest that the Bill of Rights was not only unnecessary, but dangerous, since by identifying the things that government can’t do, it might lead some to think that whatever wasn’t listed was fair game.

And, of course, Hamilton was dead on to fear that future governments would attempt to assume powers they were never intended to have. And it’s precisely for this reason that we should all be glad he lost this particular debate, and that the Bill of Rights survived.

Without it, we’d have far less to point to in defending the principles of our founding. And over the past few years, Americans have needed all the help they can get.

Now, for many of us in this room, the constitutional debates we’ve been engaged in over the past few years have been deeply encouraging. They’ve revealed a broad appreciation of our founding principles and a capacity for civic engagement that some had feared was in decline. For me personally, they’ve also provided strong validation of a fight I’ve waged for nearly three decades against those within the government who would micromanage political speech.

At times, this fight has compelled me to take positions that weren’t exactly popular. Opposing a constitutional amendment to ban flag burning was not a popular position in Kentucky, I assure you. My views on so-called campaign finance reform were far from universal, even within my own party. And with very rare exceptions, the media has been merciless.

But as the years have gone by, many of the early critics have begun to come around. And it’s my firm conviction that in the years ahead, I’ll prevail. Since McConnell v. FEC, I’ve filed six amicus briefs in subsequent court battles, with a seventh in the works. But all I’ll really need to win is all I’ve ever needed in this fight: and that’s the 45 words of the First Amendment, and the determination to see their true meaning vindicated.

It’s the same approach that millions of other citizens have taken in battling this administration’s attempts to assume powers it simply does not have under the Constitution. And I’m confident that they’ll be vindicated too. Every one of these fights is winnable, as long as we all keep at it.

But I think that precisely because we’ve been fighting on so many fronts, it’s easy to overlook the growing severity of certain individual threats, including the threat to speech. We see instances of it here and there, but engaged as we are in so many other battles, we risk losing sight of the size and scope of this one. So if you’ll allow me, I’d like to spend a few moments just running through some of what we’ve seen. And then I’ll lay out the stakes as I see them.

The attacks on speech are legion. Perhaps the most prominent is the so-called DISCLOSE Act.

This is the Democrats’ legislative response to Citizens United, in which the Supreme Court correctly ruled that Congress may not ban political speech based on the identity of the speaker. The DISCLOSE Act aims to get around this ruling by compelling certain targeted groups to disclose the names of their donors, while excluding others, such as unions, from doing the same.

Now, to most people the idea of disclosure sounds perfectly reasonable. And throughout my career, I too have consistently called for the full and timely disclosure of all contributions to candidates and parties. But what we’re talking about here is entirely different. What this bill calls for is government-compelled disclosure of contributions to all grassroots groups, which is far more dangerous than its proponents are willing to admit.

Because if disclosure is forced upon some but not all, it’s not an act of good government, it’s a political weapon. And that’s precisely what those who are pushing this legislation have in mind. This is nothing less than an effort by the government itself to exposes its critics to harassment and intimidation, either by government authorities or through third-party allies. And that should concern every one of us.

Those pushing the DISCLOSE Act have a simple view: if the Supreme Court is no longer willing to limit the speech of those who oppose their agenda, they’ll find other ways to do it.

You’ve all heard about the Idaho businessman who’s become a personal target of the President for speaking out on behalf of candidates and causes the President opposes. Shortly after being publicly singled out by the President’s campaign, people were digging through his divorce records, cable television hosts were going after him on air, and bloggers were harassing his kids.

Charles and David Koch have become household names, not for the tens of thousands of people they employ, not for their generosity to charity, and not for building up one of the most successful private corporations on the planet; but because of their forceful and unapologetic promotion and defense of capitalism.

In return for their decades of work, one of the President’s top aides exposed them to public scrutiny by insinuating that they’d done something shady on their taxes. And earlier this year, the President’s own campaign manager sent a mass email to the campaign’s supporters, notifying them of a Koch-backed event, presumably to incite just the kind of mob that showed up.

The results have been predictable. The Koch brothers, along with Koch employees, have had their lives threatened, received hundreds of obscenity-laced hate messages, and been harassed by left-wing groups. One e-mail carried a typical message. It read: “Choose your expiration date.”

If the President of the United States opposed these kinds of tactics, all he’d have to do is condemn them. Instead, he’s joined the effort.

President Obama has publicly accused the Koch’s of being part of a, quote, “corporate takeover of our Democracy,” whatever that means. And not only did his campaign publish a list of eight private citizens it regards as enemies — an actual old-school enemies list — it recently doubled down on the effort when some began to call these thuggish tactics into question.

None of this should be surprising for a former community organizer who told a radio audience shortly before the 2010 mid-term election that Latino voters should vote with the idea of punishing their enemies and rewarding their friends. But all of it should be surprising to a former community organizer who happens to be President.

What’s more, the tactics I’m describing extend well beyond the campaign headquarters in Chicago. To an extent not seen since the Nixon administration, they extend deep into the administration itself.

News reports suggest that top White House officials have long participated in a weekly conference call with a left-wing organization in Washington whose stated purpose is to track conservative media voices, seize on potentially offensive content, and then use it to mount corporate intimidation campaigns aimed at driving these voices clear out of the public square.

Earlier this year, dozens of Tea Party-affiliated groups across the country learned what it was like to draw the attention of the speech police when they received a lengthy questionnaire from the IRS demanding attendance lists, meeting transcripts, and donor information. One of the group’s leaders described the situation this way: “[groups like ours] either drown … in unnecessary paper work … or you survive, and give them everything they want, only to be hung.”

The head of one national advocacy group has released documents which show that his group’s confidential IRS information found its way into the hands of a staunch critic on the Left who also happens to be a co-chairman of President Obama’s re-election committee. The only way this information could have been made public is if someone leaked it from inside the IRS.

And just last week we learned of an IRS decision revoking the tax-exempt status of small political nonprofit groups that undoubtedly foreshadows an effort to do the same to bigger groups on the Right that the Obama Administration regards as a threat to its campaign.

Those who have the resources and the will to fight these things should be commended. Those who don’t should be able to count on our support. But let’s be very clear: no individual or group in this country should have to face harassment or intimidation, or incur crippling expenses, defending themselves against their own government, simply because that government doesn’t like the message they’re advocating.

One person who grasps this issue better than most is Justice Clarence Thomas. And if you haven’t read Justice Thomas’s partial dissent in Citizens United, I highly recommend it. His opinion reminds us that the courts have found the chilling effect of harassment and intimidation on free speech can actually run afoul of the First Amendment.

This is why the FEC has exempted the Socialist Worker’s Party from any public disclosure since 1979. As long as they’re able to show that disclosure has led to harassment, the FEC has been happy to exempt them on First Amendment grounds. As the Court put it in Buckley, “the evidence offered need show only a reasonable probability that the compelled disclosure of a party’s contributors’ names will subject them to threats, harassment, or reprisals, from either government officials or private parties.”

The Court used similar reasoning when it told the state of Alabama back in 1958 that it couldn’t compel the NAACP to reveal the names and addresses of its members. In NAACP v. Alabama, the Court found that compelling disclosure of affiliation with groups that are engaged in advocacy infringed upon the freedom of people to associate with whatever group they like and violated their First Amendment rights.

All of this explains why Justice Thomas thought the majority opinion in Citizens United didn’t go far enough. Citing recent accounts of people who’ve been blackmailed, threatened, and targeted for retaliation for speaking out on various political issues over the past couple of years, he said the Court failed to acknowledge their constitutional significance.

Among others examples, Justice Thomas cites the case of a Los Angeles woman who was forced to resign from a job she’d held for 26 years managing a family-owned restaurant because protesters kept showing up at the restaurant shouting “shame on you” at customers. According to press reports, the police had to show up in riot gear one night just to quell the mob.

The woman’s supposed crime: writing a $100 check in support of California’s Prop 8.

Justice Thomas goes on to note that the advent of the Internet has made these tactics even easier to pull off, and thus increases the likelihood that the public will be discouraged from participating in the political process. It’s a point that’s underscored by recent news reports of a tactic known as Swatting, something Andrew Breitbart raised the alarm about in one of his final interviews.

Here’s how it works. Somebody who knows how to hack into phones calls 911, ostensibly from your phone, and tells the police they just killed somebody. Within minutes, the local SWAT team shows up at your house, guns drawn, helicopters swirling overhead. And while this tactic is clearly criminal and should be prosecuted aggressively, the goal is equally reprehensible – namely to scare people who’ve dared to speak, write, or otherwise support a cause that the Swatters don’t like.

Justice Thomas pretty well sums up my own sentiments on tactics like this in the closing paragraph of his opinion in Citizens United: “I cannot endorse a view of the First Amendment,” he wrote, “that subjects citizens of this nation to death threats, ruined careers, damaged or defaced property, or pre-emptive and threatening warning letters as the prices for engaging in core political speech, the primary object of First Amendment protection.”

Now, what Justice Thomas is describing here — the harassment and intimidation by private citizens of those who choose to participate in the political process — is deplorable. But I think we would all have to admit that it’s of a different order of magnitude from the government itself facilitating or encouraging these things … or the government using its own powers to harass or intimidate those who participate in the political process. And that’s precisely what we’ve seen.

Fortunately, Republicans have been alert to these dangers. One of the most important things we did in the past few years was to block passage of DISCLOSE. But the assaults keep coming.

Democrats in the House and Senate recently proposed the so-called “People’s Rights Amendment”, which basically repeals the First Amendment. And just this week, citing Citizens United, the President’s top political advisor, David Axelrod, told an audience in Manhattan that, quote, “When we win, we will use whatever tools are out there, including a constitutional amendment, to turn [it] back.”

This, my friends, is all you need to know about this administration’s view of free speech. The courts have said that Congress doesn’t have the authority to muzzle political speech. So the President himself will seek to go around it by attempting to change the First Amendment.

Amending the First Amendment for the first time in history would be the ultimate act of radicalism.

And yet these are not the only ways the administration is aiming to restrict speech. In a standard tactic of the Left, what they haven’t been able to achieve through the courts or Congress, they’re already attempting to achieve through regulations.

Over at the FEC, the Democrat commissioners are pushing a rule to compel third-party groups to reveal their donors. They’re deadlocked at the moment, with all three Republican commissioners standing strong. But this effort isn’t limited to the FEC.

The FCC just finalized a rule requiring broadcasters to list the names of any groups that pay for, or want to pay for, television ads online. The National Association of Broadcasters is fighting back right now in court.

Last year, the SEC proposed a rule requiring shareholder approval or disclosure of political activities. And under pressure from left wing groups, many companies have already included the question on their proxy statements.

During the health care debate, the Department of Health and Human Services issued a gag order on Humana and other private health insurers, saying they can’t inform seniors about what Obamacare meant for them. More recently, HHS spent $20 million in taxpayer money to promote Obamacare. So they’re stifling speech that’s critical of the bill, even as they tell taxpayers they’ve got to foot the bill for the administration’s own efforts to promote it.

And it’s not just the agencies.

Over at the White House, the President’s lawyers recently circulated a draft executive order that would have required anyone bidding for a government contract to disclose political donations, including those of affiliates and subsidiaries, officers and directors in excess of $5,000. The message of the order was clear: if you want a government contract, you better support our causes, or at least keep your mouth shut when it comes to the causes we oppose.

It’s the same message that an administration official sent last week when asked about Newark Mayor Cory Booker’s relationship with the administration after he had the nerve to speak his mind about the President’s attacks on private equity. “He’s dead to us,” he said.

My own view has always been that if you can’t convince people of the wisdom of your policies, then you should come up with some better arguments. But for all its vaunted tolerance, the political Left has consistently demonstrated a militant intolerance for dissent. Sadly, a growing number of people on the Left, and now within government itself, appear to have concluded that they can’t win on the merits. So they’ve resorted to bullying and intimidation instead. And the potential consequences are grave.

Which brings me to another point.

It should go without saying that the political Left has always faced an uphill climb in a country in which there are two self-identified conservatives for every self-identified liberal. America is not Western Europe. In order to succeed in this environment, liberals have generally resorted to one of the three tactics I’ve already identified: obscuring their true intent, pursuing through regulation and the courts what they can’t through legislation, or muzzling their critics.

But there’s another element to these efforts that’s less widely understood, but that I believe is essential to understanding why it is that liberals have been working so hard to regulate political speech over the past four decades. It involves the great assumption behind all of their campaign finance efforts: that the collision of private interests with politics is somehow inherently corrupting.

This is the great untested premise behind all these efforts to regulate political speech. And few people stop to think of just how radical it is. Because whether it’s the public financing of campaigns, or the attempt to impose limits on the political speech of any business or group that doesn’t happen to own a newspaper or a news studio, what all these efforts have in common is a deep suspicion of the private sphere.

All these efforts are for the purpose of limiting the ability of those engaged in private enterprises – or certain disfavored private groups or associations – to influence the direction of our country by participating in the electoral process. The goal is to hermetically seal off Congress from anyone engaged in the private economy or in certain kinds of advocacy, for that matter, outside the public sector.

And the assumption behind all these proposals is the same assumption that appears to underlie this President’s economic and regulatory policies; that anyone who makes a profit is either cheating their customers, mistreating their employees, or both. Their motives are impure, those who interact with them are somehow duped, and therefore they’re not entitled to the full protections of the First Amendment.

For those who hold this view, the legislative Holy Grail has always been taxpayer-funded campaigns. If the advocates of this approach had their way, government would control how much is spent on elections, and how it’s directed, courtesy of the taxpayer.

But the question is, who would have sway over the politicians then?

With private interests pushed to the sidelines, the only voices lawmakers could be expected to respond to would be the self-appointed tribunes of the public interest. Private interests would end up with minimal influence on the direction of public policy, and the odds of people running toward public sector solutions would increase dramatically.

If you write the rules of the game, it’s easier to win the game — especially for incumbent politicians, I would add. And that’s what the so-called reform crowd has always had in mind.

Now, it’s important to remember that one of the things that makes effective the harassment and intimidation tactics I’ve described is their selectivity. There aren’t exactly a lot of folks running to the ramparts to defend oil company executives and hedge fund managers. But we all need to understand something: the minute we allow ourselves to be convinced that some people stand outside the protections of the First Amendment, we’re all in trouble.

These rights don’t exist to protect what’s popular. They exist precisely to protect what isn’t. That’s why it’s a mistake to view the recent HHS mandate as merely a “Catholic” issue. And that’s why it’s a mistake to view the attacks we’ve seen on “millionaires and billionaires” as outside our concern. Because it always starts somewhere; and the moment we stop caring about who’s being targeted is the moment we’re all at risk.

If we don’t protect unpopular speech, no speech is safe.

If we don’t protect unpopular expressions of belief, then no belief is safe.

Let people support whomever they want as much as they want to, and let the best man or woman win. Then government could finally get out of the business of divvying up speech rights that it has no authority to confer. That’s what the founders intended. In my view, no one who values our freedoms should accept anything less.

As the Court put it in Buckley: “The concept that government may restrict the speech of some elements of our society in order to enhance the relative voice of others is wholly foreign to the First Amendment, which was designed to secure the widest possible dissemination of information from diverse and antagonistic sources, and to assure unfettered interchange of ideas for the bringing about of political and social changes desired by the people.”

Campaign contributions are speech, and in case anybody thinks unlimited contributions are a bad idea, or somehow far-fetched, just look across the Potomac to Virginia, which imposes no restrictions on contributions whatsoever. Last I checked, elected officials in Virginia are no more prone to scandal than officials in states that impose contribution limits.

And corporations are no more taking over politics there than they are anywhere else. Indeed, for all the talk after the Citizens United ruling about the corporate takeover of politics, not a single Fortune 100 company contributed a penny to the eight Super PACs that supported the Republican primary candidates. And that includes Big Oil, Wall Street banks, and health insurers — the three corporate bogeymen that President Obama himself warned us about in the wake of the Court’s ruling.

Here’s my larger point.

One of the traditional strengths of the conservative movement has always been its great diversity. We don’t all agree on everything. But my message to you today is there are certain principles that should always unite us: and one of them is the inviolability of the First Amendment. And that’s why we’ve all got to unite against these tactics, wherever we see them. If you see these things, speak up. Call out the offenders. Get ready for the criticism. And fight back.

For me, that’s meant a very long-battle against efforts to constrain political speech. It may not be the most glamorous issue out there. And it didn’t make me any friends on any editorial boards that aren’t run by Paul Gigot. But a great freedom is at stake. And having been in this fight for a long time, I can tell you this: when you’ve got an administration that’s willing to throw core constitutional protections out the window for the sake of an election, we’re in very dangerous territory indeed.

This may not be the fight that brought you to Washington. But it may very well be the one that keeps you from achieving your goals. Especially if you’re a conservative, your ability to speak out on behalf of that cause is very much at stake right now. But as I said at the outset, this isn’t just a conservative fight. It affects all of us. Because everyone in this room, liberal or conservative, is engaged in what they regard as very important battle of ideas. And the First Amendment makes all of that possible. If we lose the right to speak, we’ve lost these battles before they’ve even been waged.

I know that as November draws near, some of those running for office will feel the need to choose their battles. There will be a very strong temptation, particularly among conservatives, to take this particular issue off the table, to make concessions. My advice is to resist the temptation. Because, as I’ve said, everything we’re fighting for is contingent on our ability to speak our minds.

And so my plea to you is this: unite. Send a message to the next generation of leaders, whatever their stripe, that the First Amendment is something about which there can be no compromise. We may not win every fight, but we can at least guarantee we’ll always have a place in the debate. And in the end, I’m confident, the best ideas will always win out.

After all, that’s how free markets work. Whether it’s a market for goods or, the market of ideas, the best product will win in the end. And no American should ever be afraid of that.

As Oliver Wendell Holmes put it nearly a century ago, “The best test of truth is the power of the thought to get itself accepted in the competition of the market”

And the best defense of this truth we have is still found in that sweeping command: “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech.”

That statement was that he had a “sexual addiction“. For years now the liberal progressive movemment in America has been making excuses for peoples bad immoral behavior.

They’ve had the psycho’s i.e. psychologists and psychiatrists help them enhance and validate their excuses thus justifying their bad, evil and immoral behavior in their own eyes and in the eyes of those who are also immoral.

Therefore they have made a culture where nothing is out of bounds, nothing is wrong, nothing is evil, there are no standards except those standards the left chooses to apply to whatever situation they encounter to further their leftist agenda, or to cover up the truth as to the results, or effects of that agenda.

You see this in the situation with Castro, you see this in the violence and depravity in our cities and schools. You see this in places like Stockton, California and Detroit, Michigan, you see this in a rich kid in Texas getting away with killing people because of so-called Afluenza, saying he never learned good morals because he was a rich privileged white kid.

The wrong headedness of modern liberal / progressive thought and policies are plain for everyone to see. Whether it be the malfeasance, and abuse by our government agencies, Benghazi, IRS, NSA, DOJ, just to name a few or the green energy debacles under Obama.

You see it in the way they try to silence their critics and / or opposition. You see this in the hypocrisy that exists in pop culture, Hollywood, Washington D.C. etc.

You can see it in the trial and reprehensible behavior of Kermit Gosnell. You can see it in the lives of Anthony Weiner and San Diego Mayor Bob Filner and their complete lack of remorse or even a basic human understanding of the depravity of their own behavior.

You can see it in the behavior of some mothers who think it nothing wrong to dispose of their own child because the child interferes with their lives.

You see in the selective outrage of the Obama administration and the democrat party on various issues that arise in America and the world.

It’s not hard to see at all why the Founders said things like “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Leftist cultural ideas and the resulting consequences show why America should have been listening to those decrying the moral decay in America, the so-called social conservatives. I would not say they were social conservatives. I would say they are the people who have inherited the wisdom of our Founding Fathers and who have an understanding of the ideals that made this the most blessed and prosperous nation in the history of mankind.

Hopefully enough of you will wake up to these facts and the wisdom God imparted to us through them, to somehow stop the decay and decline that those same leftist ideals, practices and politicies have brought on the United States.

Not only have those leftist policies effected America, but they have restricted and reversed the advance of true human freedom throughout the world, that the greatness of this nation once inspired.

That is providing we have not already advanced too far down that dark road to tyranny, treachery and abuse. Where as I have said before the few control the many and the only thing we all have in common is the misery we suffer at the hands of those in power.

Wake up America, before it’s too late and pray, that it is not too late already.

America forget not to Praise God and Thank Jesus, God please continue to shed your grace, your blessings, and your love for all mankind upon America and help us to advance the cause of human freedom as our Founders and their offspring had envisioned.

Many people do not know the truth about Jane Fonda…she was on TV 3 times recently talking about her new book…and how  good she feels in her 70’s… she still does not admit what she did wrong..her book just may not make the best seller list if more people know the truth.

BARBARA WALTERS said:  Many died in Vietnam for our freedoms…. I did not like Jane Fonda then and I don’t like her now.

She can lead her present life the way she wants and perhaps SHE  can forget the past, but we DO NOT have to stand by without comment and see her “honored” as a “Woman of the Century.”

Jane Fonda is being honored as one  of the ‘100 Women of the Century’

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only our country,but specific men who served and sacrificed during  the Vietnam War.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot.
The pilot’s name is  Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.
In 1968, the  former Commandant of the USAF Survival School  was a POW in Ho Lo Prison the ‘ Hanoi Hilton.’

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a  cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ’s, he was ordered to describe for a visiting  American ‘Peace Activist’ the ‘lenient and  humane treatment’ he’d received.

He spat  at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away.   During the subsequent beating, he fell forward  on to the camp Commandant ‘s feet, which sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air  Force Colonel still suffered from double vision  (which permanently ended his flying career) from  the Commandant’s frenzied application of a  wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry  Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E’s). He spent 6 years in the ‘ Hanoi Hilton’…the first three of which his family only knew he was ‘missing in  action’. His wife lived on faith that he was  still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up,  fed and clothed routine in preparation for a    ‘peace delegation’ visit.

They, however,  had time and devised a plan to get word to the  world that they were alive and still survived.  Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of  his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man’s hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: ‘Aren’t you sorry you bombed  babies?’ and ‘Are you grateful for the treatment from your benevolent captors?’  Believing this HAD to be an act, they palmed her their sliver of paper.

She took them all without missing a beat.. At the  end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper…

Three men died from the subsequent  beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number  four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.

I was a  civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam , and was captured by the North Vietnamese  communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia ; and one year in a ‘black box’  in Hanoi .. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot , South Vietnam , whom I buried in the  jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is  170 lbs)

We were Jane Fonda’s ‘war  criminals….’

When Jane Fonda was in  Hanoi , I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet  with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received… and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted  by her as ‘humane and lenient.’

Because  of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to  meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me  on TV. She never did answer me.

These  first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of ‘100 Years of  Great Women’ Lest we forget….’ 100 Years of  Great Women’ should never include a traitor      whose hands are covered with the blood of so  many patriots.

There are few things I  have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane’s participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as  many people as you possibly can.. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget.

Remember Cash for Clunkers! The “Party of Treason” at work!

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) released calculations that show the economic failure of the “Cash for Clunkers” government sponsored program.

ATR President Grover Norquist said, “This is nothing more than the President using the guise of ‘green energy’ to cover-up yet another massive multi-billion dollar spending project. When are these people going to learn throwing money at the economy is not the answer?”

“A clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year at 15 mpg uses 800 gallons of gas a year. A new vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year at 25 mpg uses 480 gallons of gas a year.  So, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction reduced gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year. The government claims 700,000 clunkers have been replaced so that is 224 million gallons saved per year.  That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil. 5 million barrels is about 5 hours worth of US consumption. More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel costs about $350 million dollars.  So, the government paid $3 billion of our tax dollars to save $350 million. They spent $8.57 for every $1.00 they saved.

I’m pretty sure they will do a much better job with our health care though.”

He broke Obama’s promise, to make peace with direct, no precondition talks with America ‘s most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

He broke Obama’s promise, to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.

If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, all of President Obama ‘s problems would be solved. His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track, Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel . North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.Oh, and did I mention what it would be like, if the Democrats, under the previous leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, didn’t have the heavy yoke of George Bush around their necks? There would be no ear marks, no closed-door drafting of bills, no increase in deficit spending, no special-interest influence (unions), no vote buying (Nebraska, Louisiana).

If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, we’d have real change by now.

All the broken promises, all the failed legislation and delay (health care reform, immigration reform) is not President Obama ‘s fault or the fault of the Democrat-controlled Congress. It’s all George Bush’s fault !

Take for example the decision of Eric Holder, the president’s attorney general, to hold terrorists’ trials in New York City. Or his decision to try the Christmas Day underpants bomber as a civilian.

Two disastrous decisions.

Certainly those were bad judgments based on poor advice from George Bush!

You might recall that when Scott Brown won the election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, capturing “The Ted Kennedy Seat”, President Obama said, Brown’s victory was the result of the same voter anger that propelled Obama into office in 2008. People were still angry about George Bush and the policies of the past 10 years. And they wanted change.

Yes, according to the president, the voter rebellion in Massachusetts , was George Bush’s fault.

Therefore, in retaliation, they elected a Republican to the Ted Kennedy seat, ending a half-century of domination by Democrats. It is all George Bush ‘s fault!

Will the failed administration of George Bush ever end, and the time for hope and and change ever arrive ???Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something/anything?

Liberals and celebrity endorsements

You know I get tired of these liberals and celebs, telling us what we need to give to charity, or fund with our tax dollars. They lecture us, and tell us how we need to live our lives. I think, they need to concern themselves, with themselves. How many of them, give even a tenth of what they make to charity. They think spending a few minutes or hours doing a commercial or concert, where they implore us to get behind some cause that interests them, or charge for a concert, to then give our money to whatever cause is in fashion at the time. They think by doing so, they are showing they care, or they are doing something good. They, are only really generous with other peoples money. All these people should show us their tax statements, to show how generous they are, as a percentage of giving to gross income.

All those, that tell us we have to do this, or that to save, cure, solve, restore, defeat, etc. the list is endless. They’ve spent, how many years telling us how Christians want to control every bodies lives. I don’t remember (in recent history) them ever using government or activist judges to take our money, to fund their pet organizations, or passing laws to punish people or to try to limit my freedom, to live my life as I see fit. All any Christian has ever tried to do, is to convince me Jesus wants to save and deliver me from my sins. Just because Christians make some people feel uncomfortable, because of the shame these people feel themselves, when they are around Christians. They then accuse the Christians of judging them, or trying to force them to believe what they do. The Christians try to uplift us, out of our shame with love. The liberals/progressives try to beat us down with shame/guilt that they themselves try to contrive in us. They use the planet, the children, the poor, animals, the sick, etc. to shame us into following their agendas. They imply that if we don’t do what they want, that we personally do not care about our own children, the planet, the polar bears, women, the caribous, the poor, sea turtles, seals, whales, wolves, trees, the air, the ocean, the list again is endless. The only thing I’ve heard of Christians trying to save, is peoples souls. Using the liberals words here “I think we can all agree that” by the conditions we see in all our major cities, a lot of peoples souls need to be saved. The liberals they want to repress our souls, and beat us down till there is nothing left. As a matter of fact, all the things that seem en vogue now, are a lot of the things that Christ tried to convince his followers to do, some 2000 years ago.

The liberals tell us to be tolerant, however, look at what they did to Joe Lieberman when he dared disagree with them on the war. They kicked him out of their political party, that was really tolerant of them.

The things the democrats accuse their opponents of, are always things that they themselves are guilty of. Look at the Tea Party for example, you couldn’t find a more diverse group of Americans, both the candidates and the people who support them. Yet, these past few years, we have witnessed a relentless campaign against the people of the Tea Party movement, which consists of almost every segment of the population, the candidates include, women, blacks, Indian, Hispanic, etc. They, and their backers are from every political, economical, geographical and religious class. The very picture of bi-partisan, multiracial, non-gender specific, group of American’s united together, to solve the problems of America. Which, again, I think we can all agree, the problems have been in, and originate from Washington D.C. We’ve heard the democrats and liberals call the Tea Party people insane, racist, bigots, homophobes, Nazis, women haters, etc. again the list is endless. All this by the people who are always lecturing us on tolerance, being bipartisan, inclusive, multicultural, etc. The Congressional Black Caucus has even questioned whether they would allow the black tea party members to join their caucus.

The liberal/progressive idea of working with others is, forcing the people they work with ,to do what the liberals/progressives want. They say they are for democracy, for majority rule, yet every-time the majority vote and pass a state prop. the liberals/progs do not like, they sue, saying it is unconstitutional. All the while, they ignore the Constitution in everything they do. They use their judges, to bend the law, or ms-interpret the Constitution, or to twist what it says, to accommodate whatever argument they are making, trying to convince us they are right. They are doing the exact opposite, of what they are telling us, they are trying to do, that is the only way they can get their agendas passed. They say they want to punish our enemies, i.e. other Americans they do not like, or disagree with, i.e. bankers, tea-party people, pharma, doctors, etc. seems the only ones who are exempt from it other than liberal/progs are trial lawyers. Punishing them does nothing to help me, the only ones it seems to help, are those that want to punish them for us. President Obama said something in his comments on the midterm elections, that encapsulates the problem with the left. He said “No one party can dictate the way going forward.” Dictate? He seems that have an understanding, that the government dictates over the people, instead, of understanding that the power of government, belongs to the people and that we hire them to represent our interests in government. We do not hire the liberals/progs, environmentalists, and celebs to whatever their current cause is.

The liberals/progs accuse the Christians of being hypocrites, for sometimes failing to live up to a life, that they themselves don’t even have the guts to attempt to live up to. They say practice what you preach. Yet, the most vocal liberals/progs are the biggest hypocrites there are, they display it every day on television. They even use the education system nowadays trying to coerce our children into believing in their progressive causes and theories.

They try to use our children against us i.e to compel us, they use us against each other, all to advance their self-righteous agendas. I’m sick of the liberal/progressives trying to save me, my children, the planet, polar bears, whales, etc., all while trying to get me to relinquish my freedoms, privacy, beliefs, behavior, etc. to suit them and their beliefs.

A couple of other things worth noting:

The view of an English woman dealing with what the left wants us to have in the United States of America: I will never subscribe to the PC’ism that “Islam is a gentle religion” .. because it is patently untrue for anyone who has not taken leave of their senses & isn’t sleep-walking through life. China ‘s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.
The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.
And, who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were ‘peace loving’?
History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans,Japanese,Chinese,Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.
As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.
Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. No Clergy for 9/11 Memorial

We are three weeks away from the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Now, you will not believe what has happened. It is Orwellian. The good guys are the bad guys now and the bad guys are perfectly welcome.

What is going on?

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg has decreed there will be no clergy at the 9/11 memorial.

You heard that right. No Clergy!

Let’s start with the basics. Bloomberg is simply nuts. At the same time he is saying no clergy at the 9/11 memorial service, he is also saying that he has no problem with the 9/11 victory mosque being built two blocks away.

Islamists attacked America on 9/11 based on their religious hatred of America. All types of Americans died on that day. Many were religious people. One of the fatalities that day was Father Mychal Judge, a chaplain with the NYFD who went into the towers with the fire fighters and perished with them.

While Michael Bloomberg lobbies for taxpayer funds to help build the 9/11 victory mosque, there is another casualty of 9/11 that everyone seems to have forgotten about.

Little St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church had stood since 1916. It had been a refuge for New Yorkers and others seeking escape and a brief peaceful interlude during their hectic days in the New York business world. It was the spiritual home to many of the Greek Orthodox faithful of New York. The Sons of St. Nicholas served in World War 1, World War 2, Korea, Vietnam and even up to Desert Storm.

When the towers were destroyed, St. Nicholas was destroyed. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese has asked, discussed, begged, pleaded, cajoled and done everything in its power to get little St. Nicholas rebuilt. All to no avail. The Archdiocese has now had to file suit.

Mean while Bloomberg, who truly meets Lenin’s definition of a useful idiot, is doing everything he can to make certain a victory mosque is built as close to the site of the 9/11 attacks as possible.

George Bush used to say that Islam had been hijacked. No, what we saw on 9/11 was pretty consistent with Islam since its creation. What we are seeing is 9/11 being hijacked.

Instead of a proper memorial for the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor, we are instead fed a line of politically correct bovine scatology.

Enough!

9/11 was a national trauma. We all remember where we were when we first heard about the attack. The tenth anniversary activities are a national disgrace.

My suggestion is this. Our government refuses to identify our enemies as our enemies, treats our citizens as enemies and refuses to take meaningful steps to protect us or protect liberty. 9/11 falls on a Sunday this year. Let’s go to our churches on 9/11 (or synagogues on 9/10) and let real Americans remember the attacks. Let’s have remembrances at our local Tea Party events and Liberty events. Let’s do a memorial at our local Republican Party meetings or out our local Boy Scout meetings.

Tea Party Crimes & Sins?

Let me be certain this is perfectly clear, the Tea Party is not, nor have they been, the aggressors in ANYTHING!!! Nor have we committed any crimes!

Yet we have been maligned, made light of, despised, beat on, scoffed at, called names, censored, spat on, ignored, hated, feared, hacked, hassled, judged to be kooks, terrorists, the list is endless. All in an attempt to shut us up, and get us to quit bringing to the light of day, the lies, deceptions, etc. that they have been force feeding America with now for too long.

Meanwhile what are our crimes,

1. Standing up for the freedom this country was founded on?

2. Electing freshman that will carry that banner of freedom?

3. Peacefully gathered together to thank & praise God for His blessings on America and to discuss the political issues of today.?

4. Called and written our reps to make sure they understand for once, how the majority of Americans feel?

5. Called on them to quit spending money they do not have, and to get off our, our childrens, and our grandchildrens back, and restore freedom and honor to America?

6. Called on our elected representatives to quit meeting in secret and making secret laws, to quit passing laws before We The People know what those laws contain?

7. Called on our elected officials to quit taking away those self-same freedoms and liberties that so many of our ancestors fought and died to gain and defend. Meanwhile the aggessors have attacked us, our representatives and anyone else who does not conform to their leftist/maxist/socialist agenda?

8. Called on our elected officials to listen to We The People instead of the people in the media who try to shape our opinions with their polls and the things they report?

9. Celebrated with pride the anniversary of our Independence from the oppression of rulers who also did not listen to We The People?

10. Loved, supported and honored our brave heroes in uniform?

11. Failed to bow at the alter of global warming hypocrisy and lies?

12. Failed to follow our 1st Amendment rights to let or voices be heard?

Are these our crimes? Are these our sins?

Never at any time have we left behind a trash heap to be cleaned up by the tax payers, nor have we at anytime attacked anyone physically for anything. We have not spat at, cursed, called names, threatened, etc. those who have attacked us from various points of society. What is our crime? What is our sin, that they, who claim tolerance as their mantra, are then the first to throw stones at us? We have none!!

Well,,,,I don’t know about you Patriots,,But I intend to defend those self same rights, guaranteed us by the Constitution, to the bitter end, until they drag me out my heels or we have once again guaranteed those self-same rights, for the future generations that are still yet to come. CENSORSHIP FACEBOOK HEADS UP!! SUGGESTION 4 EVERYONE ON FB!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!

I am, or was “Proud Hobbit” on Facebook, until Facebook contacted me yesterday i.e. Thurs/Fri. telling me that I wasn’t using my “real name” and that my account was suspended until I provided my real name, and updated my Facebook account using it. The censorship has begun, I would therefore suggest the following. This is the second time I have been censored on Facebook! After I changed the name, because I frequently refresh screen, one of the first times I did this, after they made me change my name. I got a Facebook notification that my account was temporarily unavailable, to try again in a few minutes. I waited, refreshed again, it took me to Run, Sarah, Run! Sarah Palin 2012 which I have listed on page as my employer.  (Facebook now referred to as FB)

If you are on FB do the following!

Open up Wordpad or Notepad, while still on your FB page,,after Wordpad/Notepad opens,,,,,,go to the page that lists your FB friends, i.e. click the link to left side of your FB page that says Friends,,,after your friends page is open,,,,highlight the name of your first friend like you would when you highlight something you wish to copy and paste,,,,after it is highlighted,,,,scroll down the page,,,,,keep scrolling until you reach the end of your lists of friends,,,,,,hold down shift key,,,,click to the right side of last name,,,,,all names should then be highlighted,,,,,hit ctrl + C,,to copy,,,,go to Wordpad/Notepad,,,click in document window so that you can type in the document,,,,,,hit ctrl + V to paste ,,,,,walla!!! you now have a list of all your FB friends,,,,,update frequently using same method,,

I would also suggest you exchange emails or go to each others FB pages and get the email info off each one,,,if you are like me, though,,none of your FB pages contains your main email address,,,therefore you should contact each friend and get their main email address.

I don’t mean web-based email like hotmail,,gmail,,,etc..I mean the email at your Internet service provider,,they can censure you just as easily on the web-based email providers as they can on facebook. I would also suggest that you exchange phone numbers with your most trusted friends, but always be cautious and remain vigilant for trolls and traitors!

UPDATE: I am slow to anger, but when that anger comes, it is not something that goes away easily, and it only makes me more determined. I am going to keep a track of my Facebook posts to my James Davis (Proud Hobbit) wall, for you to follow and for my own purposes, records, etc.

Where it started was actually with my first facebook account, FamilyTrees Genealogy. During the debt debate, I would get on Speaker John Boehners FB page. Some leftist trolls got on his page, they were making all kinds of comments attacking him, spreading lies, disinformation, and generally tying up the comments with their banter back and forth, dwarfing all the legitimate comments, from concerned citizens. I watched them do this for two days until I got tired of it. I then started posting links to facts on the net, responding to their comments and arguments. I posted quotes from their supposed hero Thomas Jefferson that refuted, or put into context quotes they were using from him. They didn’t like that, so they started using one of the another Founder,, and put after his name “non-slave owner” I then started using the same founder and put same “non-slave owner” like they did. They then went to Reagan, I refused to argue with them, I just kept posting facts with links to those facts. They then went to Jesus, I knew more than they did on that subject too. They then started calling me names, again I did not stoop to their level, I just kept posting facts. They could not defeat me, so they told FB I was spamming so that FB blocked me from posting publicly. I then got contacted by a friend to start another FB account. Now it has just gone on from there. Follow timeline of my FB page posts to see what happened.

CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  How are you today?

RUSH:  Ehhhhhhhh, I’m okay.  I’m muddling through here.

CALLER:  I listened to your show earlier this week and you came out with some statements about Obamacare which is going to start allowing for women to have free access to birth control, and you came out against it.  Now, my question for kind of just the Republican general in general I’m trying to reconcile is how can they be against birth control and abortion, yet at the same time be against raising children on welfare and having to pay for that debt to society our entire lives and filling our prison systems, and how do you reconcile this?

RUSH:  I don’t think the two have anything to do with one another.  You asked first off: Against raising children on welfare.  This is a cultural thing.  It has to do with the best way to raise kids.  Single parent families, single-mother children just don’t have a chance in this country.  It’s statistically documented.  What happened? Why do these people’s fathers — or mothers, in that case — run off?  You know, our problem is not that the government doesn’t help out.  The government has become the missing parent.  The government has become the parents, and does not inculcate any values.  The kids in this country that have no chance are the kids being cared for by government because their families have grown apart.CALLER:  Rush, I agree with not raising them on welfare but then how can you oppose — be opposed to women getting free birth control which would prevent theme women, these children from being born?RUSH: (sigh)  You’re asking me…? Do you really want me to sit here and say I’m in favor of abortion so we don’t have welfare?CALLER:  Uhhh, in favor of birth control to prevent welfare.RUSH:  No, no.  No, no.  You’re trying to maneuver me in some abortion question.  Of course the government has no business providing birth control! The government has no business encouraging the activity that leads to the cultural rot that is really responsible for all of these destroyed lives.  The government is the reason that all of this is wrong.  The government needs to get out of it.  Churches used to do this.  There was never welfare in this country before the mid-1930s.  How did people get along?  How did women get along without health care and birth control.  They did it with family and churches, but all that’s broken down. All that’s laughed at and impugned and made fun of now.

Now the government has to do it or else it’s not legitimate.  The government, as an entity — because it doesn’t care about anything about how those people vote — is destroying the opportunity that people in those financial circumstances have under the guise of compassion and saving them; and a lot of us are just fed up with it.  Not because of the money it’s costing, primarily, but because the human cost.  We love people.  We want the best for everybody! This is the greatest country ever devised by mankind, with the blessings of God, and we are in the process — and have been for 50 plus years — of ripping it apart, ripping the foundational building blocks of this country apart, and we wonder why certain people, kids, end up as they do?

The guardrails are gone from our society.  There’s nobody around to tell ‘em they’re wrong. There’s nobody around to love them. There’s nobody around to care about them, nobody around to give them high expectations. No! We’re worried about whether or not the mother is gonna get an RU-486 pill the next day as she runs around and abandons HER responsibility, to HER self and culture and society.  There’s no contradictions here.  It all makes sense if you just broom the prejudice and the bias that you’ve been taught (A, about conservatives), and start thinking of people in purely human terms, there is no way you can look at what the welfare state has wrought and say that there’s anything about it that is worth financing further.

Because all it’s doing is producing people who vote Democrat, with a false promise that they’re gonna be cared for, the false promise that they’re going to have prosperity, the false promise that whoever is discriminating against them is gonna get theirs; they’re gonna get taken care of. It turns out that all these promises have been made for 50 years, and these people been hearing the same promises for 50 years, and they’re still complaining about the same broken promises for 50 years. Yet they keep voting the same way.  It’s utter insanity.  Now, you’re talking to somebody who wants the best for everybody.  You’re talking to somebody who wants everybody to be able to access the opportunities for economic opportunity, education, whatever.
This is the best place on this planet there has ever been for humanity to be born.  The greatest gift a human being in this world has is to be born in America, to be born in the United States.  It’s not going to be true very much longer if we keep treating people we claim to have compassion for the way we’re treating them, if we look at them first and foremost as political tools.  “Oh, yeah, I’m gonna make sure she gets an RU-486 pill! She’ll vote for me! Women’s rights, abortion rights, yeah! That’s what we’re for!” No.  What about the concern for life, quality of life, the sanctity of life? There are people that have that, and they used to be those that people turned to when times got tough.  They’re called church, they’re called family.  But the left’s busted up families and the left is busting up churches, or trying to.(sigh) I ought to get sick more often.BREAK TRANSCRIPTRUSH:  I’ll tell you where that last call came from. Here’s a story on CNN which broke the news: “According to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius the decision [we're gonna demand that the insurance companies provide birth control for free] is a part of the Affordable Care Act’s move to ‘stop problems before they start,'” which is exactly my point! Babies are “problems,” and Obamacare is gonna stop ‘em! How’s Obamacare going to stop problems? We’re gonna give out free abortion and morning after pills — and by the way, we’re gonna demand that the insurance companies provide birth control for free.  Now, my attitude is real simple: Is there a problem in this country getting birth control?  Is there a problem getting birth control pills or devices?  There’s not, is there?  Now it’s a right for which we all have to pay?  My attitude is: If you want to abort your baby, you go get your own pill — and if you want your own birth control, you go get your own condom or whatever device you want to use and you pay for it.  They are in plentiful supply.  The rest of society does not need to subsidize your behavior.

Well, once again the catastrophe we were supposed to avoid by enacting, once again, one of Obama’s leftist policies caused the self same catastrophe. The Dow plunged 500+ points AND we lost our vaunted AAA credit rating. Timothy “tax cheat” Geithner
swore, that if we didn’t raise the debt ceiling that we’d lose the AAA rating. Sure enough just as has become the norm for the Obama administration. they said we’d lose the AAA rating if we didn’t raise the debt ceiling. They raise the ceiling, we lose the AAA rating and the stock market plunges.

The reason it seems like Geitner, and the whole of the Obama administration seem wholly unfit for the offices they occupy is because THEY ARE! They have cheated at everything all their lives, they’ve never had to measure up to the vaunted ideas they have of themselves and each other. All they have ever done is game the system, the people and the country. All in a quest to gain wealth and power for themselves and their cronies. Cronies like GE CEO and Obama Jobs Czar Jeffrey R. Immelt, who pays no taxes, gets stimulus money and then moves jobs over seas.

Everything they have ever done has been to agitate people in poor neighborhoods,who are too busy struggling to survive, to pay attention to the fact they are being played, and used by these same people. People who care for you only as long as you are useful to them. A good example is Cindy Sheehan, she has been protesting just as fiercely Obama’s war as she did Bushes, but do you ever hear of her anymore? No, she has been cast aside, just like so many other people used by the liberal/progressive/leftist/democrats through the years. She is just the latest and most glaring example of one of the “little” people they have used. Then you have people like Anthony “I can’t keep my hands off my junk” Weiner. Who as soon as he become a liability politically they dropped this rising star, as fast as he dropped his pants. Not that I feel sorry for Geitner, he’ll do all right, probably get a job at CNN alongside “client number nine” Eliot Spitzer.

I do though feel sorry somewhat for Cindy Sheehan and people like her, that have been used, then tossed aside by the Democrats, throughout the last dozen decades. Even more, I feel sorry for all the people who have had no hope for the same number of decades, because they believed the lies that people like Barack and his leftist cronies have told them, again for decades. Then they have voted the liars into office, only to have their lives destroyed even more, because the liars never worked on anything in their lives, other than how to cheat the next group of victims they wish to exploit. They have never worked a real job in their lives, they have only worked at theories in universities or politics. So it matters little to them, that once again they caused the catastrophe they promised we’d avoid, if we only compromised again, with them. They have never had to face up to the results and consequences for their actions. They’re always too busy looking for the next group of “victims” they can help.

Once again also, the spineless GOP proved their weakness by not standing with US in the Tea Party, thereby they helped create another mess, the Tea Party is going to left in 2012 to clean up, after we kick them, and this administration to the curb, just as they have done to us, so many times in the past. GOP complicity, complacency, capitulation
or compromise, it REALLY doesn’t matter which. The leadership of the GOP has shown they are unwilling to tackle the tough issues, nor willing to fight the good fight on behalf of We the American people.

I say then that it is time we primary Tea Party candidates against them all, both GOP and Democrat, and throw the bums out on their ears. They have been filling our ears with lies for so long, that it seems like poetic justice to me. We are fed-up with the FED and it is time for. we the people to have our anger and hunger fed by getting rid of the lying, cheating, compromising politicians in Washington, once and for all. Not only to get rid of them, but defeat them in such an all consuming way, that they do not soon forget in Washington what we the people can do when we get fed-up with the games of the FED in DC.

Why I Hate Leftists, Progressive, Liberal Hypocrisy!

Why I hate leftists! Let me start by saying, the current problem we have in America is, all the leftist rich kid radicals from the 60’s, are now in places, of what once were High honor, before they corrupted them with their quest to control the rest of us. While they could NEVER control themselves! Now they are running the government, thereby running America into the ground, implementing their leftist tyrannical ideology. Thinking they are so smart, when they are REALLY, the most unlearned among us, because they, unlike the rest of us, never had to struggle in the REAL WORLD! They have never done anything, outside the university, government and politics. They grew up with the indulgences of their parents, who were also indulged throughout their lives.

They never experienced walking barefoot in the pasture, and accidentally getting cow manure between their toes. They’ve never worked on a car with points in it, under a shade tree in the yard. They’ve never toiled for years on a farm, and barely eked out a living from the dirt. Indeed most of them don’t even know what it’s like, to have dirt under their finger nails. The closest they come to getting dirt under their nails is when they touch the mud pack of their facials.

They fly around in private jets, while lecturing the rest of us about what kind of vehicle WE should drive. They use bidet’s to clean off their bums, while lecturing the rest of us on how many sheets of toilet paper to use. They’ve never known the feeling of wiping there butts with a leaf in the woods. They’ve never used an outhouse, while looking at the stars thru the crescent  moon cut in the door. They don’t know what it was like, as a kid to experience a country boys mud pack, i.e. a mud fight with your siblings and friends, whereby you get mud not only all over your face, but the rest of your body as well.

They don’t know what it’s like, to have to work 2-3 jobs just to keep their families fed, clothed and sheltered. They don’t know the feeling of a cow’s tit while milking in the early morning. They didn’t grow up watching their mom’s and dad’s working themselves to death, just to send their kids to college. They’ve never set on the end of a dock fishing, while the crawdads pinched their toes, alongside their grandfather in the heat of summer. They drive around in $250,000 cars, if they aren’t being driven in a limo, while trying to make the rest of us ride on commuter trains, buses, bicycles, etc.

They don’t know the putt-putt sound of the tractors engine, while preparing the ground to get the family crops in. If they want a garden they pay someone else to plant a little garden that means nothing to them, if the grasshoppers eat up all the fruits of their labors. Matter of fact most of them wouldn’t know a grasshopper, if the saw one in real life. The closest any of them have ever been to a cricket, is Jiminy Cricket in the cartoons.

They don’t know We The People, because they have never experienced the hardships, that their policies, do to the average American. They don’t know us, because they have never caught fire flies on the prairie, put them in a jar to read a comic book by after their parents put them to bed. Indeed their parents never put them to bed, nor knelt down humbly beside them at their bed, and said “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep”. Nor have they ever done the same with their own children. All the while lecturing us, on how we should let them give OUR children condoms in grade school.

They spend millions and millions of tax dollars “researching” their junk science theories, like man made global warming, while not even factoring in the effects of the one thing that causes warming, the Sun. They do this, just so they can come up with more ways to “convince” the rest of us to give them more taxes. Taxes they can then use to “research” more ways to control our lives. They fly around in private luxury jets, while creating the TSA goon squad for the rest of us, under the pretense of hurting some terrorist Islamic fascists feelings with profiling, terrorists who would cut off their heads, given half a chance.

They use taxpayer dollars to fly to New York for a night on the town, while telling the rest of us, our children or grandchildren, to eat our peas. They cozy up to Islamic terror groups, while calling the Tea Party Patriots terrorists and Hobbits for wanting Washington to stop spending those same children and grand children’s futures into oblivion. They tell us to “Do it for the Children” not caring they are enslaving our children with debt.

They take a helicopter to take pictures of themselves on glaciers, most of us will never be privileged enough to see, telling us our breath is the poison, causing those glaciers to melt. While ignoring the fact the earth was once covered in ice. They spend thousands of dollars a month for electricity, while lecturing us on what light bulbs we need to use.

They send their kids to private schools, while keeping the rest of us from having school choice! They ALWAYS say do it for the children, while they want as many of those same children as possible, aborted at or before birth!

They lecture us about giving more money to government to feed the poor and needy, while never giving a dime of their own money to charity. They lecture us about the homeless, having never spoken to, nor spent time, with those same homeless people.

LAPD officers in hazmat suits sort through trash and belongings left behind occupy LA / Wall Street crowd. this is what the occupy crowd left behind at all their so-called rallies!

They leave a garbage dump in the wake of their “rallies” while treating the Tea Party Patriots like uncouth peasants, and telling these same Patriots, how they need to pay more taxes to clean up the environment. There are many books and thousands of web pages dealing with their hypocrisy and lies.

They talk about others telling the truth, never having known the truth or having been honest themselves! If they were honest, they would never get elected!

They are the most intolerant among us, they are the most hypocritical among us. They are whining brats, who need to look within! Instead of worrying about what the rest of us are doing. They use thug tactics, while telling the rest of us, we need to be civil. They lecture us on compromise, while never having known compromise themselves. The list is long and endless. Most of them like the Kennedy’s money came from nefarious means. They don’t know average Americans, nor do they want to. They think we smell up the Capitol buildings. While their wickedness and hypocrisy smell to high heaven.

They have accused Christians for years of telling them how to live their lives, while they now create laws and policies to ACTUALLY control ALL our lives themselves!

They are the ones Jesus spoke against, got angry with, and ran out of the Temple. They are the ones, who have created EVERY problem America has had, since its founding! They ARE the ones the Founders warned US about!

The Truth about the current political parties in America and their origins by Thomas Jefferson and others

In a free society, differences of political sentiment result in different political parties. These sentiments resolve themselves naturally into two basic parties: the Authoritarian that favors government that controls the people, (i.e. Monarchist, Monocrats, Tory, Marxist, Nazi, Communist, Socialist, (modern Liberals/Progressives) etc. these use whatever name they think will get them the control over the people that they want, they have used many names down thru history, they currently use Democrat in this country again to try to fool the people to their true aims) and the Democratic that favors government controlled by we the people. The body of the nation chooses a path that is mapped by one or the other of these parties. (i.e. Whigs, Republican, (original Liberals as the Founders believed themselves to be) Conservative. Tea Party, Constitutionalists, etc.)

The middle in America politically speaking is between the Anti-Federalists who did not want a centralized or federal government and the Federalists who wanted it to have very limited power. We are very far left of center in American politics in these present days.

“The parties of Whig and Tory are those of nature. They exist in all countries, whether called by these names or by those of Aristocrats and Democrats, Cote Droite and Cote Gauche, Ultras and Radicals, Serviles and Liberals. The sickly, weakly, timid man fears the people, and is a Tory by nature. The healthy, strong and bold cherishes them, and is formed a Whig by nature.” –Thomas Jefferson to Lafayette, 1823.

“The Tories are for strengthening the Executive and General Government; the Whigs cherish the representative branch and the rights reserved by the States as the bulwark against consolidation, which must immediately generate monarchy.” –Thomas Jefferson to Lafayette, 1823.

He believed that eventually that the only division would be between the moderate Republicans and the ardent Republicans, he did not foresee that the Tories would rise up again in this nation as they have done in the modern democrat party with the help (either by collusion or compromise) of the establishment GOP.

“I had always expected that when the republicans should have put down all things under their feet, they would schismatize among themselves. I always expected, too, that whatever names the parties might bear, the real division would be into moderate and ardent republicanism. In this division there is no great evil — not even if the minority obtain the ascendency by the accession of federal votes to their candidate; because this gives us one shade only, instead of another, of republicanism. It is to be considered as apostasy only when they purchase the votes of federalists, with a participation in honor and power.” –Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Cooper, 1807.

“Men have differed in opinion and been divided into parties by these opinions from the first origin of societies, and in all governments where they have been permitted freely to think and to speak. The same political parties which now agitate the U.S. have existed through all time. Whether the power of the people or that of the [aristocracy] should prevail were questions which kept the states of Greece and Rome in eternal convulsions, as they now schismatize every people whose minds and mouths are not shut up by the gag of a despot. And in fact the terms of Whig and Tory belong to natural as well as to civil history. They denote the temper and constitution of mind of different individuals.” –Thomas Jefferson to John Adams, 1824

While the modern establishment GOP and the modern Democratic parties seem to have united against the people to gain power for the few, instead of the good of all people in the Nation and they fight each other as to just how fast they are going to take our God given freedoms away from us. They are still united in the same effort and that is the only thing that seems to unite them. The modern democratic party wants to take our freedoms all at once, while the establishment GOP wants take them a little at a time. Here is what some of the Founders said about the loss of freedom.

Then in 1977 the U.S. Privacy Protection Study Commission said; “The real danger is the gradual erosion of individual liberties through the automation, integration, and interconnection of many small, separate record-keeping systems, each of which alone may seem innocuous, even benevolent, and wholly justifiable.” This is why the Democrats want to force us all into national healthcare and the establishment GOP has no real interest in stopping them, the modern GOP and Democratic party are both far left of where the two parties were after the Revolutionary War.

As you can see the modern democratic party has no place in America, they are the ones we fought the Revolutionary War to get rid of.

They have actually done us a favor by having given the modern democratic party absolute power for a short period of time, because it woke people up to the true aims of both parties and that is to take the power from the people and put it into the hand of the Washington Elitist political class. Let us pray that it is not too late.

The Tea Party are the result of this awakening of the people and is a true representation of what the Founders envisioned of the two original political sides in America after the Revolution in that people of differing opinions would work together for the good of the people and not only for the political class, which really, then there was not a political class at all, our Founders were only in Government as long as was necessary, they were not career politicians as we know today. What our Founders envisioned was precisely what the Tea Party represent: the citizen civil-servant. People who actually LIVE the life of the constituency, elected officials who rise from the ranks of those who will elect one from among their midst to represent the people of their district. The Tea Party is made up of disaffected Independents,  Democrats, Republicans, etc. A true cross section of the American voting public.

The Tea Party also represent what Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned in his I have a dream speech. It is made up of every race and creed, not based on color but on character and the understanding of what the political class is trying to do. It also represents what the feminist said they wanted originally in that it is made up of both men and women based on their abilities, not on their sex. Yet the current leftist (both GOP and Democrat) political establishment and the less informed among us.

They attack the black people in the Tea Party movement calling them uncle Tom’s, sellouts, and other names that I prefer not to even type myself for reference, however you have heard them all. They attack the women of the Tea Party, also using derogatory terms. They attack the white men as rich white guys, rednecks, etc. It is all about intimidation and control, all in an attempt to make them shut-up to keep the uninformed among us from becoming informed. They do this because they realize that the Tea Party is made up of average everyday people just as the Founders represented and were made up of the same kind of people. People who wanted freedom from the tyranny and chains imposed on them in their time, and wanted the power in the hands of the people instead of a class of nobility, which it is obvious today that the political class among us think they are, or they would not think they know better than we do ourselves, what is good for us. Many of the nobility back in Europe also thought they knew more about what was good for the people, better than the people themselves.

Then you had other like many in our modern government that didn’t even consider what was good for anyone other than themselves. Sadly there are far too many of those today.

The following are more representative of the Tea Party movement than the modern political class.

“The greatest good we can do our country is to heal its party divisions and make them one people.” –Thomas Jefferson to John Dickinson, 1801.

“To restore… harmony,… to render us again one people acting as one nation should be the object of every man really a patriot.” –Thomas Jefferson to Thomas McKean, 1801.

“If we move in mass, be it ever so circuitously, we shall attain our object; but if we break into squads, everyone pursuing the path he thinks most direct, we become an easy conquest to those who can now barely hold us in check.” –Thomas Jefferson to William Duane, 1811

“If we schismatize on either men or measures, if we do not act in phalanx, as when we rescued [our country] from the satellites of monarchism, I will not say our party, the term is false and degrading, but our nation will be undone. For the republicans are the nation.” –Thomas Jefferson to William Duane, 1811.

Keeping in mind that most all the Founders were followers of Christ, I add the following.

“I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever, in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else, where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all.” –Thomas Jefferson to Francis Hopkinson, 1789

On compromise in the modern establishment GOP.

“Where the principle of difference [between political parties] is as substantial and as strongly pronounced as between the republicans and the monocrats of our country, I hold it as honorable to take a firm and decided part (as the Tea Party has) and as immoral to pursue a middle line (as the GOP has), as between the parties of honest men and rogues, into which every country is divided.” –Thomas Jefferson to William Branch Giles, 1795

On the importance of Constitutional principles.

“That each party endeavors to get into the administration of the government and exclude the other from power is true, and may be stated as a motive of action: but this is only secondary; the primary motive being a real and radical difference of political principle. I sincerely wish our differences were but personally who should govern, and that the principles of our Constitution were those of both parties. –Thomas Jefferson to John Melish, 1813. Unfortunately, neither the establishment GOP nor the modern Democratic parties adhere to the Constitution.

“The denunciation of the democratic societies, [whose avowed object is the nourishment of the republican principles of our Constitution,] is one of the extraordinary acts of boldness of which we have seen so many from the faction of monocrats,… [and is] an attack on the freedom of discussion, the freedom of writing, printing and publishing.” –Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 1794. Just as the modern leftist democratic party wants to do. Think of their attacks on talk radio, FOX and the fact they want to control the internet.

On the attacks by the modern day Democrats and RINOS in the GOP on the people in the Tea Party movement.

“I suppose, indeed, that in public life, a man whose political principles have any decided character and who has energy enough to give them effect must always expect to encounter political hostility from those of adverse principles.” –Thomas Jefferson to Richard M. Johnson, 1808

“Men of energy of character must have enemies; because there are two sides to every question, and taking one with decision, and acting on it with effect, those who take the other will of course be hostile in proportion as they feel that effect.” –Thomas Jefferson to John Adams, 1817. (So the harsher the attack by the leftists Democrats and RINOS in the GOP shows the effectiveness of the people in the Tea Party movement)

“Dr. Franklin had many political enemies, as every character must, which, with decision enough to have opinions, has energy and talent to give them effect on the feelings of the adversary opinion.” –Thomas Jefferson to Robert Walsh, 1818

“An enemy generally says and believes what he wishes.” –Thomas Jefferson to C. W. F. Dumas, 1788 (It’s called Projection: whereby your enemy accuses you of the thing, that they themselves are doing. Very popular tactic of the leftist’s)

I think the following fits those in the Tea Party movement when attacked by their enemies.

“With those who wish to think amiss of me, I have learned to be perfectly indifferent; but where I know a mind to be ingenuous, and to need only truth to set it to rights, I cannot be as passive.” –Thomas Jefferson to Abigail Adams, 1804

“We, therefore, the representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent states, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do.”

Our forefathers pledged their Sacred Honor, they left us a Sacred Trust. “Sacred Honor” think about it, what did they mean by pledging their Sacred Honor?

They believed that America as a Nation was ordained by God; and indeed it was or it never would have existed in the first place.

Definition of Rectitude: the quality or state of being straight, moral integrity, Righteousness; the quality or state of being correct in judgment or procedure.

Definition of Pledged: Promise to give.

Definition of Sacred: Devoted to God: dedicated to God or a religious purpose.

Definition of Honor; personal integrity, strong moral character or strength, and adherence to ethical principles.

What they were doing was promising the people of the colonies, that they were giving for them and the Nation; their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor; Honor was/is Sacred because God would judge them based on the integrity, ethics, and moral character that they displayed in life.

These were God fearing men, when they added Sacred to the wording, they were committing themselves to God completely, knowing that He would be their judge. This was “not” something they did lightly.

I’m sure you’ll come to the conclusion when you understand this, it truly IS Sacred, and it is a “Sacred Trust” they left us with. Let us NOT FAIL to follow their example.

Never has this Nation since the Civil War, come to a crossroads where the differences are so STARK and so MANY, between the right and the left in this great Nation we Patriots love. The directions so different, as what we face today. At some point Compromise becomes Submission, I think we are at that point. Do we STAND with God, Freedom, and our Forefathers, or do we go the way of every Nation in the past. The way of oppression, government intrusion and slavery.

Where only a few, rule over the many, instead of the many keeping the few in check. God help us today, AND in these times, to STAND, STAND STRONG, and STAND RESOLUTE, in our RESOLVE to uphold the BANNER of GOD and FREEDOM passed down to us by our forefathers, in Jesus name, the Creator of Freedom and Liberty!

Warning, the farther left they push the country, the father right it will go when the majority of people wake up to it. It is like a spring, bungy, rubber band etc. the father it goes one way, the further it springs back in the other.

Remember that the center is between the old moderate republican party and the ardent republican constitutionalist. We are far far left of the center already.

The history of the world is tyranny and oppression, our Founders set America up to be the exception, hence American exceptionalism.

It is simply the study of human nature, history, life, etc, that causes me to come to this observation. A large number of people are going to get jarred awake, and they are going to be somewhat panicked, this is where the rubber band is going to spring back, equally in the opposite direction from what it has been stretched to the left. This is one of the things we, today’s Patriot’s, are going to have to be ready for. To prevent it from going further to the right than what our Founders, had envisioned for our Republic. We must be the Watchman on the walls, we have to get back to what our Founders envisioned.

I am by no means advocating  for the far right, if one actually exists in the Country that would want to set up a Christian Theocracy either. Indeed, that is one of the things I am sounding the warning against! I believe like my Founding Father forebearer’s, I am for true freedom for everyone. However , also like them, I believe that we need to “ALL” be followers of Christ, to whatever degree our own conscience tells us to be. However no one should be forced to do anything! God does not force us to serve Him. However, without Christ there is no true freedom, nor is there the moral compass in our leaders to do the right thing. Again I say, “Don’t, Just Do It! Just Do It Right!”
